Bluesberry in Clarksdale

Superb.

We had a very nice Monday evening at the Bluesberry cafe. It's not a fancy place but it has a nice local touch. The menu has a few very tasty pasta's and a small range of drinks. Live blues music was good and several locals joined at times resulting in a some nice or very funny moments. Defenitely a very enjoyable way to spend you Monday night in Clarksdale!

Come for the Italian dinner in Monday’s. Stay for the live blues music. Staff is very engaging and the vibe is eclectic.

For a German stomach the breakfast was very American.But that was one-man Blues uniquely good.Be sure to go when breakfast & Blues is in the calendar!

Funky atmosphere, great food, great prices, great music. A total surprise for breakfast. It made the day. Watermelon Slim on the guitar. Delightful.

You aren't coming here for the food or service. You come here for the music and experience. This place has awesome musicians come through here. 4 out of 5 stars because the service isn't quick. If you're looking for good service, you are in the wrong place to begin with.

Authentic delta blues from local musicians. A great place to visit when you're in the area. Good food here too.

We got there really early. It was an awesome experience. The owner cooked our breakfast. We visited with Watermelon Slim over eggs and grits. Food was good and fresh. Had omelets and shared the waffle.

Breakfast and Blues? Yes, please! We visited during the Film and Music Festival and enjoyed our experience. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was good.

Tables wobble terribly, better tables can be found in the trash. I like the music, and the place, and I'd love to support them. Food ok.

Good food and live music. A nice spot to get breakfast and listen to some blues.

We had the pleasure of stopping in for dinner and listening to live music from Deak Harp and Quicksand ("I quit!"), with Watermelon Slim and Lucious Spiller jumping in on a couple songs. A wonderful spot, locally owned and operated. The live music is great. Well worth the visit. Cover was added to the tab for dinner and drinks, and the band played about 3 sets from 8 pm-11 pm. Wonderfully friendly staff and a good place to meet other blues aficionados (and local business owners!) in town. This is CASH ONLY for dinner and drinks.

For breakfast -- The food tasted reheated, over cooked, and in some cases under cooked. We could not finish our plates. The restaurant was not clean and had an unpleasant odor. Though friendly, the service was very unprofessional. And unfortunately, this morning, the music was not worth sitting through. We were uncomfortable and eager to leave as soon as we could. Would definitely not recommend.

Enjoyed the music and atmosphere. Waiter was inattentive, disorganized, no sign of my food after 45 mins. Waiter served 2 customers that came in after me, they received food, ate, paid, and left 10 mins ago. I'm still waiting for food. Avoid this place if you care about your time and actually receiving service. I walked.

Great Blues diner in Clarksdale Missippissi! For the record: I was in Clarksdale for 5 days at the end of October and did not see one CockAroach the whole trip including Bluesberry Cafe. That's for the reviewer a few reviews below mine.We did however see Watermelon Slim show up and sit in with the band and we all had a great time. Love Clarksdale and the Blues history and heritage.

We were there during a festival, so very busy, but they knew way in advance about the upcoming crowd but still it took literally an hour to be served after we got a seat. Food was good once it arrived but was room temperature. We will never go back. Nearby restaurants did not have this problem

Music was great. Waitress slow but friendly. We were told that the chef was away for the day......it showed.....breakfast was awful :(

We went on a Sunday morning expecting breakfast and blues. There was no blues, however there were enough cockroaches to make up a full band. I had the French Toast, which was good, but my friend had the pork chop and was sorely disappointed by the little meat that she got versus fat and bone. Also worth noting that they ONLY TAKE CASH, because there is no sign.

Has such potential. Great live music, decor and presence. To be successful, they have to work on running a business. Ordering food took around 30 mins. We never got the food having waited 1 hour after putting in the order. When settling up to leave (having not eaten), there was an additional $8 charge for the music per person. This didnt appear to be signposted and none of our party were made aware of this additional cost per person. We were spread across multiple tables. The service never mentioned this during ordering. We refused to pay more than $25 as the total was coming in at $46 for 2 IPA's and a Corona! Asides from leaving without tasting their delicious looking meatballs and spaghetti, the experience was good. Really hope they can learn from feedback and make this a great place it seemed to be from other reviews (which is what we went on). Good luck Blueberry Cafe.

Mondays in Clarksdale its the only place to be. Oh and come hungry for the homemade spaghetti and meatballs.

Monday night is Bluesberry night.... Loved it and will return when it is warmer.
